Poor sleep deprived Sammy….

      1.      Falls asleep on his laptop- drools and electrocutes himself

     2.      Falls asleep at the wheel of the Impala and crashes it – right into a furniture shop with a bedroom display in the shop window – oh isn’t life ironic

      3.      Is so tired that he slurs his words when questioned by a local cop and ends up being arrested for being drunk and locked up in a cell with a guy called Tiny who turns into a werewolf over night and attacks Sam who had just fallen asleep.  Dean has just got the call that Sam is in the ICU.

      4.       Needs to stay awake because he has been caught out in a snow storm and he knows he will die if he drifts off.  He starts walking trying to find shelter he knows is up ahead - but trips and falls over a snow-covered rock he didn’t see. He now has a suspected broken ankle as well as sleep deprivation.  His final thought was that at least the pain would keep him awake – just before he finally falls asleep.  Luckily – his brother who would NEVER give up on him has been tracking him using a heat sensor and manages to find him and wraps him in a thermal blanket and gets him into the shelter where he uses body heat to keep Sam alive through the night.  Luckily the weather improves in the morning and Dean is able to get a still hypothermic Sam proper help.

          5.      Is so tired that he mis-reads John’s journal and gets the incantation wrong – instead removing the demon from the tied up person in front of him – it removes the rope tying him to the chair and destroys the devils trap on the floor.  Dean is not happy when he has to use the demon killing knife on the demon – but can’t be too cross with Sam right now because Sam is bleeding out all over the floor.

Hope that was okay.

Now for my suggestion - Sam has gone to a local fitness center to have a swim early in the morning before Dean is awake - surely nothing bad can happen there?
