Figured we could use a thread for this, so that when we're hunting for Wee!Chester fic specifically, we have a one-stop shop.

That said... a request over on the LJ storyfinders comm has me craving wee!chester fic where John's anything from a right b*stard to wee!Sam or just spectacularly clueless in regards to his youngest and angst ensues. Bonus points if Sam ends up physically or emotionally (o both!) injured due to John being an idgit. Double bonus points for awesome big brother Dean. There were a handful of recs posted there, but all that made me do is crave more. Help, my fellow owwie Sam fans?

I rec'd this in the other thread a long time ago, don't know if you saw it though. I really liked this fic, lots of limp Sam, protective Dean and John being a dumbass. Might not be exactly what you're looking for (if you haven't already read it lol) but it's still a good read.

Awww... does John have to be a jerk in the story, or can he just be ill-equipped when it comes to Sammy?

Clueless works too, it can be more Sam's belief of how John feels (or doesn't) that causes the angst.

Man I wanna read those mane John fics soooo bad but my computer crashed...(again with the Blue Screen of Death) and the computers at the library are blocking me from fanfiction.net 'cuz they say it's rated R!!! Ok I am totally making my mom get a library card so I can go on FF.net at the library! I mean come on man, the school's computers don't even block that!

Here are some of my favorite WeeChester fics dealing (at least in part) with the John and Sam relationship. John's not evil or mean, he's just a flawed character doing the best he can with the decisions he's made.

There's one in particular... a WeeChester fic that takes place in the weeks leading up to Christmas. A baby Jesus plastic lawn figure keeps popping up in various places (thanks to Dean) and Sam gets to be in a play.

I've read most of these fics, and i got to say, almost all of them bring a tear to my eye. I love a good limp-wee-sam any day--especially with a dumbass John and dean!
