Delurking to say that maybe Jared and Gen just want the focus to be on Jensen and Daneel's happy news at this time and so are keeping their news very quiet. Jared may even a little "gun shy" about announcing their engagement at a major Con (because his unfortunate history with announcing his and Sandy's engagement at a Con) - plus the nasty barbs flung by a significant portion of the fandom about Ruby's 1& 2 and at Gen personally. I liked the "Ruby" character and thought Gen did a good job reinventing Ruby with a "fresh approach".

I'll also be taking a look at your avatars you posted on CWESS to replace this one and the one I've been using on sn.tv unless you have an "art thread" on sn.tv with different avis. The one I'm using is cute as a button and made by Kentawolf but she's no longer around anywhere that I can find her.
