Okay don't answer that. You'll just shatter my fragile ego. 
I'll just say I've missed you guys terribly.
But I'm back... I hope.... (It's been at least three months and things have changed a bit and I hate to admit it but it just took me an hour to get this post to show up.)
I don't know which of you lot I owe for taking over the joint but ****HUGS**** and keep up the good work!!!!
I mostly just wanted to give a shot out to say I'll be around if you need anything. Help with the site or something purchased for the site or anything you mods think I might be able to contribute.
I haven't seen any of the new eps yet... I guess that puts me 4 or 5 shows behind. Yep.... life's been that freakin' crazy. As a matter of fact, I'm not even rejoining you freaks as a whole person. They finally got me under the knife at work. EEEEEEEK!!!! You guessed it... at the cranky old age of 37... I finally got my tonsils yanked out. After 2 months of constant antibiotics I stupidly agreed to my very first operation. And now I am suffering the consequences!!!!! Don't panic... the surgery technically went just fine. However... you know when you're in the hospital and they have to tell you all the things that can go wrong... and you know DEATH is always on the top of the list... Well, heck I'm a freakin' nurse I know that stupid list I wasn't listening when the doc reviewed it. STUPID.... STUPID... STUPID..... I guess I really should have 'cause it seems this stupid surgery could and did affect my sense of taste.
And now....
I FREAKIN' CAN'T TASTE CHOCOLATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If I had known this was going to happen the dang things could have stayed in my throat and rotted out just like the doc said they were doing anyway.
*sigh*
Anyway.... I just wanted to say "howdy" and thank the moderators for watching over the board. You guys always did all the work anyway. This kind of stuff has always been way beyond me.
I'm just excited to be back among the living.... or I guess that's the *LIMPING*.

Renee! Sweetie!! I missed you!! Please tell me the ability to taste will come back!!
I missed you!!!!!!!!!! I hope you're feeling better. I missed you at the Cherry Hill Con. Anicka spent a night at my house and it would have been so great if you could have been there too!
Oh I hope you can play with us a little. I wonder if water ice would stay frozen if I packed it with dry ice or something and sent it to you. It's great if your throat is still a little sore.
Ok, I'm rambling but I don't care. I'm just so freaking happy to see you back here! Have I told you I missed you?

Brenna!!!  Missed you too!! Was wondering where you had gotten to. Not able to taste chocolate?!?! that's horrible. I'm with Vicki hoping it will come back.

Thanks sweetie! Unfortunately pie is out at the moment too. Most sweets taste like burnt metal right now.

 I'm so glad you made it back here, but I'm sorry to hear go got thoroughly whumped while away, Brenna.  Always remember, we're the ones doing the whumping; you're not supposed to be at the receiving end, hun. 
To lose your sense of taste sucks out loud! I dearly hope everything will be back to normal soon. 
I hope you feel better tomorrow. BTW, have you ever tried frozen Feuerzangenbowle? I swear it would be the absolutely right thing for you now. It's heated red wine with orange juice, a bit of cinnamon plus a couple of cloves and some sugar drenched in rum that burns and drips into the drink. That's an awesome drink for cold winter days, and if you let it cool off and put it in the freezer, you get the bestest ice ever. Cheers! *hicks*
